The forecast suggests -1C and 12mph Winds from the East. There is also Heavy Snow coming in so there is a chance the ride may be cancelled if it’s too bad. I’ve kept the route short and to fairly good roads. South on the A19 to turn for Naburn, Stillingfleet and Cawood. On to Biggin and North up to Church Fenton and Ulleskelf. In to Tadcaster then Bolton Percy, Appleton Roebuck and Bishopthorpe.

The forecast is currently a cool 6C start, 6mph wind coming from the West. To be safe I’ve tried to keep the route off too many twisty lanes. We head over the Millennium Bridge and South to Bishopthorpe, then West to Bolton Percy. Over the Bridge at Tadcaster and gently climbing to Bramham and steadily through the village. Up to Clifford, Boston Spa and carefully across the roundabouts to descend in to Collingham. Turning right and up to Linton over the repaired bridge to Wetherby. Negotiating the quiet one way streets and keeping East through Walton, Wighill, Askham Bryan and up Tadcaster Road back to the start.
