YRCC Ride 195b (would have been #197 but aligned correctly now after cancelled rides).

Full mudguards are required to ride with the club until the clocks change at the end of March. We’re riding Clockwise to the East of York. The number of groups, will depend on the number of people riding.

Current forecast for the ride is 7-10C, 5mph wind from the East to help us back in to York. Heading East towards Heslington and on to Elvington going the safest way out the A64 roundabout. Over the A1079 up to Yapham then West at Bishop Wilton. Full Sutton and over the A166 to Buttercrambe then back in to York through Murton then taking it easy over Walmgate Stray back to the start.

Optional Coffee stop after the ride at Cycle Heaven.

We’re riding a figure of 8 to the East of York, riding on part of the Tour de Yorkshire stage 1 route. We head South on the A19 as far as Crockey Hill. Then in to the wind to Wheldrake, Elvington and a small section on the A1079 to be careful of before Barmby Moor. North from Pocklington to Bishop Wilton following the Stage 1 route, then turning back West to Fangfoss and Wilberfoss. Back in to Elvington with wind assistance to the roundabout on the A1079 to be careful at, through Heslington for an optional cafe stop at Cycle Heaven.
