We’re riding anti clockwise to the East of York. The number of groups, will depend on the number of people riding.
Another good weather forecast between 21-25C and a 5 mph breeze from the North West. Out to Murton, Sand Hutton, Bossall and Crambe. Crossing carefully over the A64 and up to Welburn to turn left at Coneysthorpe. Loop round through Ganthorpe to Bulmer, Flaxton and Strensall.
There will be an optional cafe stop on return to Cycle Heaven.
We’re riding anti clockwise to the North East of York. Heading out to Heslington and on to the A1079 taking care at the roundabout to get round to Elvington. On to Barmby Moor, Bolton, Fangfoss, and Full Sutton. A small section on the A166 before a right turn to go to the top side of Buttercrambe. Left turn to Howsham, Bossall, Sand Hutton, Upper Helmsley, Warthill, Murton, Osbaldwick and the cycle track back in to York for an optional cafe stop at Cycle Heaven.

We’re heading to Kirkham Priory this Sunday. Leaving Tesco round the back of York College and over the back of the Knavesmire. Then over the Millennium bridge passing Cycle Heaven. Onwards to Murton, Stockton on the Forest, Upper Helsmley and Sand Hutton. Carrying on North East to Bossall, Crambe and descending safely to the crossing and past Kirkham Priory. A left turn for Firby instead of the usual route and onwards to our furthest point on the route to Eddlethorpe. South West from there all the way back to Buttercrambe and on to the A166 briefly until Dunnington. Then back in to York on Hull Road taking care at the roundabouts. An optional Cafe visit afterwards for coffee and cake.
Sundays ride looks warmer than last week. Could be a damp start. We head East out of York over the Millennium bridge, through Osbaldwick, Murton, Warthill. Then North through Upper Helmsley, Sand Hutton, Bossall, Haton, Barton le Willows and Barton Hill. A left turn West through Foston, Thornton Le Clay and West Lilling. Back South through Strensall, Towthorpe, Earswick and Huntington. An optional stop at a cafe for coffee & cake afterwards.
Sundays ride will see us head North East out of York through Murton, Warthill, Gate Helmsley, Buttercrambe and a climb up to Leavening. Then back South East through Howsham, Bossall, Sand Hutton, Upper Helmsley and Fulford for coffee & cake.
