YRCC Ride 169

Date: 27/08/2017 | Time: 9am | Distance: 38.8 / 46.8 mi | Elevation Gain: 1569 / 2098ft | Ride Type: Road

We’re riding clockwise to the North East of York. The number of Groups we split in to will depend upon the number of people riding, there could be the option of a shorter or longer route too. Setting off steadily on shared bike path over Walmgate Stray towards Heworth. We head North through Huntington, Strensall and Sheriff Hutton. Please be careful for any traffic controls in place for the Ladies Road race before we climb out to Bulmer. The shorter ride would branch off to Welburn, carefully over the A64 on to the bike track, for a drop in to Kirkham and rejoin after the climb to Westow. The Longer ride heads North for the ups and downs to Coneysthorpe, East to Malton, then down to Westow. Both routes then meander South West through Sand Hutton, Murton, Osbaldwick and Heslington. There will be an optional cafe stop at Cycle Heaven.
