We’re riding Clockwise to the East of York. The number of groups, will depend on the number of people riding.
Current forecast for the start of the ride 16C, 11mph wind from the East to help us back. Heading out on Hull road we then turn off for quieter roads through Murton round to Stamford Bridge. South East to Pocklington and over the A1079 to Melbourne, Sutton Upon Derwent, Elvington and Heslington.

We’re riding clockwise to the East of York. The number of Groups, will depend on the number of people riding. There could be the option of a shorter or longer route too.
A gentle start to the North East over Walmgate Stray through Osbaldwick, Murton, Warthill and Gate Helmsley. Down to Stamford Bridge for some quiet roads to Bishop Wilton where the routes split. The shorter route heads South to Meltonby, whereas the longer route climbs up Garrowby Hill. Descending down Beacon Road to loop back up to rejoin below Meltonby. Crossing the A1079 carefully to hopefully get a bit of wind assistance through Elvington up to the A64 roundabout. Down to Heslington and back in to Fulford.
There will be an optional cafe stop on return to Cycle Heaven.
We’re riding anti clockwise to the North East of York. Heading out to Heslington and on to the A1079 taking care at the roundabout to get round to Elvington. On to Barmby Moor, Bolton, Fangfoss, and Full Sutton. A small section on the A166 before a right turn to go to the top side of Buttercrambe. Left turn to Howsham, Bossall, Sand Hutton, Upper Helmsley, Warthill, Murton, Osbaldwick and the cycle track back in to York for an optional cafe stop at Cycle Heaven.
