Sunday’s club ride looks another sunny one after a chilly start. We’re heading West out through Rufforth (avoiding the Vale of York run). Then once off the main road we head through Long Marston,  Tockwith and over the river to Cattal. Then onwards and upwards through Whixley for a bit on the main road, before much quieter ones through Marton Cum Grafton, to our Northern most point at Aldwark. A good descent South from there to Lower Dunsforth, Upper Dunsforth and Great Ouseburn. Heading East from there over the Toll Bridge and briskly through Linton on Ouse, Newton on Ouse and through Beningbrough Hall estate. Keeping off the main road through the back roads at Overton and a straight finish from there back to York. Optional Cafe visit afterwards for Coffee and cake. Unless anybody wants to stop off in Beningbrough.

Sundays ride looks to be a very cold one. We head West out of York through Askham Bryan, Askham Richard, Catterton, Healaugh. Then North past Bickerton and Cattal if the bridge is ok. Hunsingore, Whixley and on to Little Ouseburn. Over the toll bridge near Aldwark if all is well and back in to York through Linton-on-Ouse, Newton upon Ouse, Overton and Skelton. An optional stop at a cafe for warmth, coffee & cake afterwards.
