Up to Tockwith then East through, Long Marston, Hutton Wandesley, Angram, Askham Richard and Askham Bryan. In to York up Tadcaster Road for an optional cafe stop at Cycle Heaven.

Then once off the main road we head through Long Marston, Tockwith and over the river to Cattal. Then onwards and upwards through Whixley for a bit on the main road, before much quieter ones through Marton Cum Grafton, to our Northern most point at Aldwark. A good descent South from there to Lower Dunsforth, Upper Dunsforth and Great Ouseburn. Heading East from there over the Toll Bridge and briskly through Linton on Ouse, Newton on Ouse and through Beningbrough Hall estate. Keeping off the main road through the back roads at Overton and a straight finish from there back to York. Optional Cafe visit afterwards for Coffee and cake. Unless anybody wants to stop off in Beningbrough.

Over the road to Long Marston, Tockwith and Cowthorpe. A couple of bridges and a left turn South for North Deighton and Kirk Deighton. Taking care at the busy roundabout after Wetherby heading to Collingham for a climb hiding round the corner 🙂 Some nice quiet roads from there again watching out for a couple of potholes and oncoming cars as it’s single track. Dropping down in to Bramham for another short sharp climb continuing East. A nice sprint section down in to Tadcaster, taking care over the new footbridge. A right turn for Oxton and Bolton Percy, then back in to York through Colton and Copmanthorpe. Optional Cafe visit afterwards for Coffee and cake.
