Full mudguards are required to ride with the club until the clocks change at the end of March. We’re riding Anti Clockwise to the North of York. The number of groups, will depend on the number of people riding.
Current forecast suggests potential ice in places with temperatures down to 2-4C, 8mph wind from the North to help us back in to York. Heading out (avoiding a Reliability Ride) on well used roads to Flaxton, then up to Sheriff Hutton, Turning West through Stillington and down to Huby to come back out on to the road for Wigginton. Turning off for Skelton to try keep on quieter roads then back in to York on the A19 and next to the river back to the start

The club ride this Sunday is clockwise to the North of York. Heading in to York on Tadcaster Road then out on the A19 to the North as far as Skelton. Then on quieter roads through Overton, Tollerton, Alne, and Easingwold. East from there to Stillington and mostly South from there to make use of the forecasted tailwind. Back in to York via Sutton on the Forest, Strensall, the back of Haxby and New Earswick for an optional cafe stop at Cycle Heaven.
Sundays ride looks to be a very cold one. We head West out of York through Askham Bryan, Askham Richard, Catterton, Healaugh. Then North past Bickerton and Cattal if the bridge is ok. Hunsingore, Whixley and on to Little Ouseburn. Over the toll bridge near Aldwark if all is well and back in to York through Linton-on-Ouse, Newton upon Ouse, Overton and Skelton. An optional stop at a cafe for warmth, coffee & cake afterwards.
