We’re riding anti clockwise to the West of York. We leave West through Acomb on to the A1224 to Rufforth and Long Marston. Turning off to Cowthorpe, Little Ribston and in to Knaresborough. South from there to Follifoot, Spofforth, Wetherby. Then back in to York via Askham Bryan College and over the A1237 Bypass on the bike lane to the side of the A64. Then past the Sixth Form college and Knavesmire for an optional cafe stop at Cycle Heaven.

Then back East through North Deighton, Cowthorpe, Tockwith, Long Marston and Rufforth. Back in to York via Acomb and over the Millenium bridge for an optional cafe stop at Cycle Heaven.
We’re heading to Sicklinghall and Spofforth this Sunday. Leaving West from Tesco in at least 2 groups to Askham Bryan, Healaugh, Wighill, Walton and through Wetherby. Carrying on to Sicklinghall and Clap Gate. North from there to Kirkby Overblow, briefly on the A658 and turning East to Spofforth and down a nice quiet lane. Hopefully the wind helps us back in to York through North Deighton, Cowthorpe, Tockwith, Long Marston, Rufforth and in to York at Holgate. An optional Cafe visit afterwards for coffee and cake.
The club ride this Sunday follows some of the TDY route. We’re heading South on the Planets route to Riccal. Then West through Kelfield, Cawood, Ryther and Ulleskelf. Up through Tadcaster to Wetherby and Kirk Deighton. From there we wind East back in to York through Bickerton, Long Marston and Rufforth. Optional Cafe visit afterwards for coffee and cake.
