YRCC Ride 191
Date: 28/01/2018 | Time: 9am | Distance: 40.2 mi | Elevation Gain: 1270ft | Ride Type: Road
Full mudguards are required to ride with the club until the clocks change at the end of March. We’re riding Anti Clockwise to the South West of York. The number of groups, will depend on the number of people riding.
Could we see a few people wearing shorts? Current forecast suggests no ice, cloudy but dry 8-12C with 12mph wind from the South West to help us back in to York. Leaving over the Millennium bridge making our way out on Tadcaster road to Askham Bryan and Thorpe Arch. Over Boston Spa bridge possibly in to a bit of a headwind to Clifford and up Windmill Road to Bramham. South on Paradise Way and carefully across the big roundabout to Aberford. Turning East to make use of the breeze back home on the ups and downs to Towton. Rolling in to Tadcaster then Bolton Percy, Appleton Roebuck and back to the start through Bishopthorpe.
Optional Coffee stop after the ride at Cycle Heaven.
