OUR ETHOS

Rouleurs Ride Together

But what does that mean? It goes beyond just staying together on the road. Our ethos here in The Rouleurs is about making sure everyone in the club, regardless of age, gender, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, disability or other uniqueness, belongs. We want everyone who rides with us – as a Rouleur, as a potential new member, or as a guest or friend of the club, is made to feel welcome, and treated with respect, fairness and kindness.

Our club belongs to all of us. We are a fantastic and vibrant Club. But that is only because we have such brilliant members. Every single member adds to the Club and makes it what it is. By riding together, cycling can be more enjoyable and we can achieve things that we might never do alone.

We are actively working to be as inclusive and diverse as possible – cycling should be for everyone - but we know that at the moment lots of people are excluded from the joy of two (or more) wheels. There are many reasons for this, and we are trying to reduce and remove barriers where we can, to ensure that you feel the Rouleurs can offer a safe, fun and supportive ride that suits you. It’s an ongoing journey and just like our cycling journey - it never ends but keeps getting better, with new and interesting challenges.
