York Rouleurs has a discretionary Access Fund for one-off contributions to support members in attending rides who find themselves struggling financially.

Details:

A one-off discretionary payment can be made to members to contribute to the cost of riding with the Rouleurs where otherwise they would find it difficult to do so. Please summarise in no more than 500 words your request and reason why and it will be considered by the committee and a response in writing with summarised reasons provided within 4 weeks.

Decisions will be based on:

• Funds available to the Rouleurs at time of application

• Number of requests submitted by a member within a 12 month period

• The nature of the request

• Individual situations and amount requested

• Decisions will need a two thirds committee vote and will require a quorate committee

• The committee’s decision is final and not subject to appeal
